With the advent of the Low Cost Airline and national de-regulation of the Airways, it is easier now than ever before to Jump on a plane and travel to your favorite destination or secret hideaway.

Like you, I like to do my traveling in the summer months. The warm temperatures and lifestyles of some of Europe’s most popular destinations can seem like a trip to paradise; Sitting under vines, full of succulent grapes next to a Tuscan Castle in the rustic, Italian countryside surrounded by blue skies as far as the eye can see or sipping coffee along the banks of the River Thames, while you gaze at the splendor of the Tower of London or the majestic grandeur of Windsor Castle.

Alas these images are just, sometimes, dreams. Airlines these days have a habit of increasing their fares just as the kids finish school for the summer or the weather starts to improve.

In my experience, finding the best flight deals is like winning the lottery. Sometimes it’s impossible, unless you know where to look.

With the advent of the Low Cost Airline and national de-regulation of the Airways, it is easier now than ever before to Jump on a plane and travel to your favorite destination or secret hideaway.

Flight times have improved, and gone are the days of multiple stops for refueling and crew changes. Most flights are direct and you can now travel to Europe from nearly anywhere in the world with the minimum of Fuss and Hassle.

Although many more airlines fly to Europe than ever before, getting seats on them, especially if you are not flexible about your arrival and departure dates can still prove demanding. Even more difficult is getting a good price.

Booking well in advance is one solution, especially if you are traveling with a family or a group. Other options open to you are the Last minute deal going from one travel shop to the next, coming home with handfuls of brochures selling “this” and saying “that” and the Internet.

But, you’ll be happy to know, years of traveling in my youth and with the military have taught me some things…

“Prior planning” is always the best and most stress free way to go. Yes! I know that sometimes this is not always the best option. As with all good plans of mice and men, sometimes it can and does go Wrong!!! The kids get sick; your boss wants you to finish that presentation for that all-important meeting and so on. Now!! Who hasn’t been there before? Go On! Raise your Hand…

Having decided on which castles and what part of Europe you are going to visit, you need to get that all important flight booked, so that you can plan the rest of your vacation, safe in the knowledge that at last your dreams are going to coming true…!

Let me take the stress out of stressful, so you can enjoy your vacation.

I have found these great websites that do it all at a click of a button for you.
